The Best and Worst of the GAA
Two clips showing great and not-so-great action from Gaelic Football club games that have appeared in recent days.
First up, an as unidentified game involving two players who probably wish to remain unidentified. As the goalie in the Cork jersey attempts to take a short kick-out, he simply chips the ball to the opposing full-forward leaving him with an open goal and a seemingly unmissable chance.
Seemingly, that is until a swing of the attackers left foot sees him screw the chance hopelessly wide.
Somewhat more impressive is the next clip taken from Armagh Junior Championship County Final between Annaghmore and An Port Mor. Christopher Lennon of An Port Mor is the man with the audacious chipped finish at the end of a flowing counter-attack after Annaghmore had turned the ball over in midfield. It's not often a kneed chip finish is seen in the GAA so hats off to Lennon for his quick thinking.
